Board of Directors Meeting Minutes

Acceptance of Minutes
The minutes of the October meeting were approved.
Public Access
Pat reported that the Non-Motorized Transportation Board has begun the process of ordering its priorities for sidewalk improvements which will become a part of the long-awaited Non-Motorized Plan Update. Many of the reordered priorities reflect the Board’s recognition of the importance of usable sidewalks and curb cuts in the Downtown area and new sidewalk construction leading to the Post Office and along Sheridan Street as examples.
Treasury/Fundraising
Current fund balance $2275.44.
New Business
The initial phase of the planning for the 2010 Disability for a Day Event was discussed. The Event will be held on Wednesday, April 21. We drew up a list of potential participants and reviewed some of the positives and negatives of last year’s Event. The schedule for the Event Planning Committee has been set and the next meeting will be held on Wednesday, December 9 at Noon in the Commissioners’ Chambers.
The meeting was adjourned at 1:40 pm.
Next meeting, Tuesday, December 1 at Noon in the Card Room of the Community Center.
