Board of Directors Meeting Minutes

Present: Pat Teal, Sue Ammeter, Kaheya Cunningham, Bonnie Bolster, Lynn Gressley Special Guests: Tammy Rubert and Carla Meyer of Jefferson Transit

Acceptance of Minutes

The minutes of the September meeting were accepted with the modification that the NMTB meeting in October is to discuss Update priorities.

Public Access

Tammy Rubert is the newly appointed Mobility Coordinator under a two-year grant obtained by Jefferson Transit. This position will allow Jefferson Transit services to be coordinated with other transportation resources in the community and the region. Particularly for people with disabilities who use Dial-A-Ride, Paratransit and fixed-route services, the Mobility Coordinator will be a clear point of contact. It is hoped that this position will lead to a fully developed Smart Trips program for Jefferson County.

New Business

The 2010 Disability for a Day Event will be held on Wednesday, April 21. Planning for the Event has begun and will continue in the Event Planning Committee.

Treasury/Fundraising

Current fund balance is $2273.05

Outside Committee

Kaheya did a dash presentation in Lindon. Next week she will also make a presentation at the GCDIE quarterly meeting in Tacoma. Pat reported that a nmtb meeting on October 15 4:30-6:00 will be held to discuss Update priorities.

The meeting was adjourned at 1:45 pm.
